Figo Remains Quiet

Real Madrid midfielder Luis Figo refused to be draw on where he would be playing his football next season.

Figo was mainly a bench warmer last year, and with new arrivals, and interest from Newcastle, Bolton and West Ham, it seemed likely Figo would depart.

But at a fundraising match, the Portuguese-international refused to give the media any information after Madrid supremo Florentino Perez came to support the event.

Figo said:

"Perez just came to support the match and I thank him and some of my team-mates who take part in it,"

"For my future, all I will say is that there remains one more year in my contract with Real Madrid."
