So Far…

 

After various different trials with various different clubs including Manchester United, Robbie was offered a 2-year-professional-contract with Newcastle, the club he supported and had no doubts about putting pen to paper as soon as possible.

 

He spent 8 years with Newcastle, mainly as a squad player until moving to Bolton on a free transfer in 1997.

 

He spent 4 years at Bolton, making over 100 appearances for the club before re-joining Newcastle on another free transfer in July 2001. Elliot was worked out of the squad in 2003/2004 but due to injuries, Elliot has managed to re-establish himself in the squad in the 2004/2005 season.

 

In 1995, Elliot made a brief international career playing 2 under-21 games; one of which was a 2-0 defeat to Portugal in Lisbon and a 2-1 victory over Austria at the Riverside.
