So Far…

Titus Bramble started his career at Ipswich, playing 4 games at the age of 17 before going out on-loan to Colchester where he only played a handful of games.

He established himself in the Ipswich side in the 2000/2001 season where he was in the heart of a defence that helped the Tractor Boys finish 5^th in the Premiership.

The following season, Bramble struggled with injury and without him in the centre of defence; Ipswich seemed to crumble and got relegated.

Bramble then had surgery on his ankle in May 2002, curing the problem which grabbed the interest of Newcastle who 2 months later, bought Bramble for £4.5 million after he had made 62 appearances for Ipswich.

Bramble has been a regular in the Toon defence but has often come under criticism for losing concentration and costing Newcastle matches but he is a powerful, effective defender when he keeps focus.
