Ambrose Moves to Charlton

Many Newcastle United fans are upset at news that 21-year-old starlet Darren Ambrose has been sold to Charlton Athletic.

Amborse was viewed as a promising player on Tyneside, who could play on either wing, and many fans will be sad to see him go.

Charlton singed the former Ipswich man on a 4 year deal for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of a pityful £1.5 million.

Ambrose will probabally find more regular first-team football at Charlton, something he didn't find often at Newcastle.

The 2 goals Ambrose scored last season were both late equalisers for the Toon, so he will be fondly remebered by Magpie fans.
