Blackburn vs. Newcastle

A look at the team news just hours before kick-off ahead of Newcastle trying to get their first win of the season against Rovers.

Newcastle are short of midfield options, with Parker suspended, and Solano, Dyer, Emre and Luque all injured.

 

Bowyer has been in training but is short of full fitness so Lee Clark could be put into action for the Magpies.

 

Blackburn have no new injury worries, providing that Paul Dickov has shaken off a back-injury so he can partner ex-Newcastle striker, Craig Bellamy, upfront.
