Nobby Won’t Rush

Newcastle midfielder Norberto Solano says he won’t rush back to make his second debut for Newcastle if he isn’t 100% fit.

Solano was re-signed by Newcastle on deadline day but first because of suspension, and second because of a thigh injury, Solano is yet to make his second debut for the Magpies.

 

Solano said:

 

"It has been disappointing not to have been able to play since I came back to Newcastle,"

 

"I'm recovering now, the injury is getting better and better.

 

"But it is important that I wait until I'm 100 percent fit, so I will see what happens later in the week.

 

"I'm looking forward to making my debut and obviously I would love that to be on Saturday against Manchester City.

 

"But I have not played much over the last couple of weeks and I don't want to play then have to come off after 25 minutes or half an hour with the same problem.

 

"It is important to get it right."
