Owen Looks Forward To Anfield Return

Striker Michael Owen is looking forward to returning to Liverpool on Boxing Day. It will be the first time the Newcastle striker has gone back to Anfield since leaving Liverpool for Real Madrid back in 2004.

MICHAEL OWEN: "Obviously when I knew I was coming back to The Premiership, you always think it will be strange to go back to your own club, and no doubt it will be when it comes,

"I have a picture in my mind of what it will be like, but it will be very exciting to see a lot of old friends.

"It will be a strange one because I never really thought I'd leave Liverpool."
