Mixed Reaction To Souness Sacking (Fans Views)

Reaction from Toon fans regarding the sacking of manager Graeme Souness, the appointment of Glen Roeder and Alan Shearer, and who our future manager should be.
Barry Ledger:
Ray Mossom:
Souness had to go in fact he shouldn’t have been employed in the 1st place. I am sure that Shearer will eventually be manager but not yet.
We need a very good Big manager who has a proven track record but also understands what our club means to us and what type of football we want to watch.
O’Neil would be ideal but I think the man to get is Allerdyce.
Though I think it might be a certain England Manager who will be looking for a job in July.
Andrew:
Souness had to go. After watching the match last night it is hard to believe that we were playing in Europe last season.
We have taken giant steps backwards since Bobby Robson left. The players lacked passion and fight, even after going two nil down.
We used to play attractive attacking football- but last night the players looked afraid of the ball and there was an evident lack of communication and understanding with each other.
As for Roeder and Shearer, fingers crossed that they can stir some hunger and passion into the ladsto fight onwards and upwards. The sooner a new manager is appointed the better Sam allardyce gets my vote.
Crhi Isenberg:
All of you guys should be ashamed. As a long time NUFC fan, I am appalled by our fan's disloyalty.
I would have never of thought I would of seen it from us Magpie fans. As soon as our backs hit the wall, instead of sticking together, we go and find a scapegoat. Souness is a respectable manager with, IMO, one of the best Transfer/Buying/Selling minds. I mean come on. He brought Owen who is arguably England's best striker. He has brought Parker who has been nothing short of class. He has brought Emre, who when healthy, has been our best player. Sure Luque didn't meet his expectations, but who would of thought that the AMAZING Luque was going to end up not scoring? No one. Souness did a amazing move snatching him for arguably a very good price.
A manager can only do so much. If his LAUGHABLE defense makes so many PERSONAL(keyword) sloppy mistakes, it is NOT the managers fault. I really and truly believe Souness is a respectable manager, and a great leader, seeing how all his players were 300% loyal to him(too bad the disappointing fans weren't). It was so OBVIOUS he gave 200% everything. But the truth is that there were WAY to many injuries. IT IS NOT AN EXCUSE, IT IS JUST THE TRUTH.
Come on, think with a clear-minded, non-bias thought: Parker, Emre, Solano, Carr, Taylor, Solano, Shearer, Owen, Luque, Zoggy, Dyer, and others have ALLLLLLLL been injured and around the same time! Capello or Sir Alex would have probably done much worse than what Souness was able to pull off!
The funny thing is that Magpie fans FALLACIOUSLY pronounce that they are the best fans in the EPL. Well I thought so to until this season. We have shown our true colors. It is going to be really funny when we start winning games being that we are ACUTALLY healthy now, and than everyone is going to credit the dismissal of Souness instead of the HEALTHY squad. Really, with our irrational fanship, Souness was in a lose-lose situation.
