Congratulations lads another record breaking seaso

It’s that time of the year, the end of the season when all self respecting (if there are any) Sunderland fans, get out their maps and try and work out where they will be getting beat next season.

And it is easy to be critical, to take the mick and to rub it in, that while Newcastle finishing 7th is considered a bad season, the average Sunderland fan would give his girlfriends left hoof for such a placing.

As I said though its easy to be critical, much harder to offer constructive criticism and as I am a fairly lazy Geordie I am happy enough to stick with the mick taking.

But seriously lads well done, even in my wildest dreams I didn’t think you would actually break your own record. I am looking forward to watching the end of season DVD, provisionally titled 100 great throw-ins I believe.

And obviously there will be the traditional around your hovel barrow push to celebrate your immense 1 home victory of the season.

So well done lads, give yourselves a pat on the back, taking care to scrape your knuckles off the ground obviously.

A record breaking season all around and to us Geordies the ultimate gift of relegation, the gift that simply keeps giving.
