I said it straight away, I said it several times in the pub, and I think I even mentioned it once during casual sex, but Eriksson should have taken Defoe.

Owen had not proved his fitness, and was a gamble, same can be said of Rooney, Crouch is so one-dimensional and frankly so skeleton looking he gives the bairn’s nightmares.
