A week of all things Alex

Chelsea shot keeper Rhys Taylor has extended has extended his stay at Gresty Road until the end of the season. The youngster has been in superb form for the Alex so far this season. Taylor was "delighted" to further gain valuable first team experience.

Dario Gradi has spoken of his disappointment at not signing Bury striker Andy Bishop whilst Steve Holland was in charge. Dario speaking to the official website said: "It is no secret that Andy is one that we tried to sign a few years back. He has had his fair share of injuries but he is back now and remains a very good player. He will certainly be a handfull on Saturday with Ryan (Lowe)".

Crewe welcome back three former players on Saturday when they face Bury at Gresty Road. Steven Schumacher, Ryan Lowe and former fans favourite Efe Sodje are all hoping to start for Bury.

Matt Tootle is set to return to the starting line up against Bury at the expense of the versatile Mat Mitchel-King in the only change from the side that drew with Stevenage last time out.
