Zola set to remain in League 2

After apparent interest from Bradford was quashed as mere speculation Calvin Zola is set to join Burton Albion on loan before the end of the week.

It is thought that Zola had previously turned down a loan move to Southend at the weekend, instead choosing to fight for his place in the Alex first Xl. However, following Dario Gradi's comments yesterday that the striker was now behind AJ Leitch-Smith and Byron Moore in the pecking order, Zola is now willing to leave the club temporarily in a bid to regain some goal scoring form.

Zola, Last season's top scorer, has scored just 1 goal in 8 appearances so far this season.

win win situation for us. goes to burton and doesnt score means no loss. starts scroing again we get him back. simples
