Central defender or left back who is a product of the Ipswich Town academy and made his debut for the club during the 2008/09 season.

Spent time on loan Stevenage Borough in the Blue Square Premier from February 2008 until the end of the season. In 2010 also spent just over two months on loan at Brentford following the injury to Pim Balkestein who was originally on loan at the Bees from Town.

Represented New Zealand at the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, playing in all three group games, which finished in draws meaning the All Whites did not make it through to the knock-out stages of the competition.

Spent further time out on loan in Colchester in the 2010/2011 season as he furthered his footballing education, whilst also obtained further first team experience within Town's first eleven.

Featured in 11 games the following season, scoring a single goal, which earnt the player a new two year contract.
