Taunton born Midfielder or striker brought to Town by Roy Keane from Manchester United for a 7 figure fee in early July 2009.

Despite being tipped to be a promising star upon joining the club, Martin failed to hold down a regular place at Portman Road in his first season and played just four times after the turn of the year.

Before joining Town from Manchester United, the 5ft 10in tall player had spells on loan at Royal Antwerp, Glasgow Rangers, Stoke City, Plymouth Argyle, Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest.

Spent the first half of the 2010/11 season on loan to Charlton Athletic before returning to Portman Road for the second half of the season and putting in some promising performances.

Established himself as a first team regular during 2011/2012, netting five times in 35 games.
