Ipswich Town's latest signing, Frank Nouble, has said that the presence of Mick McCarthy and assistant Terry Connor at Portman Road was a big factor in his decision to join the club.
The former England under 19 international has signed an 18 months deal at the club this afternoon to complete his transfer from Wolverhampton Wandrers, being handed squad number 35 and cannot wait to get started.
Speaking to the Official Club Website, Town's fourth signing of the transfer window said: “I’m delighted to be here and looking forward to playing for such a good club as Ipswich. I trained this morning and the enthusiasm that the manager and Terry have for the game is fantastic.
"They were big factors in me coming here. Mick was interested in me when I was at West Ham and I worked with Terry for a while after joining Wolves in the summer. They are two people who have a lot of respect in the game.

“I know it’s going to be a battle to get in the side. One look around the squad tells me that but you need that competition to be successful. I’m relishing the challenge and can’t wait to get going here.”
The signing od Nouble follows hot on the heals of Leeds defender Patrick Kisnorbo, Nottingham Forest striker David McGoldrick and Hull City forward Aaron McLaan who have all signed for the club on loan spells within the last week.
