McGoldrick Frustrated by Defeat

Town's on-loan striker David McGoldrick was disappointed to see his side lose 2-1 to bottom club Bristol City with former blue Jon Stead scoring a late winner.

Speaking to the Official Club Website after the game McGoldrick, who is at Portman Road on loan from Nottingham Forest, said: "All the boys are absolutely gutted in the dressing-room.

"We’ve played well first-half and got ourselves in front, but second-half we’ve not killed the game off and Bristol have come at us and nicked the win late on.

“It’s frustrating because we feel we should have taken all three points, never mind just one, and in the end we have come away with nothing.

“We looked pretty comfortable in the first-half but that’s the Championship for you, anyone can beat anyone and Bristol have proven that by coming from behind to win.”
