Are you watching, are you watching, are you watching Arsenal? That's how you reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League! Fortunately, there was no card-happy Chris Foy on hand this time to sabotage Chelsea's efforts as the Blues cruised to a surprisingly comfortable two-nil triumph against Galatasaray.
The goal heroes were Samuel Eto'o and Gary Cahill who scored at the beginning and end of the first half against a toothless opposition. Congratulations are also extended to big Petr Cech and his defence for denying the visitors any consolation. This is not the first time that Eto'o has scored in the second leg of a last sixteen encounter at Stamford Bridge. He did so in 2010. His manager then was Jose Mourinho, and their team went on to win the Champions League! Is that a good omen or what? Of course the scoffers and begrudgers don't give Chelsea a chance of winning the main prize, but we were totally written off two years ago and defied all the negative prophets of doom. One outcome is certain. Whoever plays Chelsea in the quarter-finals will have to perform exceptionally well to defeat us - and you won't have any Chris Foy to assist you.
