Prat of the year.

Me and Rupe don't mind the Blue Sox, but their fans were close to the back when brains were being handed out. One of them has won Shaymen.org prat of the year.

Our suspicions have been confirmed. That the Halifax Blue Sox fans are as stupid as we always thought. It might be unfair to tar all the chaps with the same brush, but this is just one instance in a series of events which proves they are not the cleverest of folk.

Many people might say that Damian Andrews is just showing his loyalty to the Blue Sox, but me and Rupe think that he is just showing his stupidity. So what has he done to receive the Shaymen.org prat of the year award?

Well, Mr Andrews is no more. If anyone ever sees him in the street you will now have to call him Mr Blue Sox because that is what he has changed his name to by deed poll.

The bright spark woke up one day last week, opened the curtains, and though to himself:

"Dime bar!!! I want to be Mr Blue Sox"

And so off he trundled to see his solicitor and after spending 5 minutes on the floor laughing at Damian, the solicitor got to work sorting out the name change.

Mr Sox has obviously given up all hope of ever getting married, but saying that I am quite sure there is a female Blue Sox fan who might find the name change a bit of a turn on.

I would just like to stress for the sake of Halifax Town fans that although Mr Sox is a steward for both the Shaymen and the Smelly Sox, he does have nothing to do with us and he admits he only supports the Blue Sox with which he has since they won the Challenge Cup in 1987 (glory hunting *@#*$!*).

Some other reasons why the Blue Sox are a little bit silly:

But, apart from what I have said above. The Blue Sox are not a bad bunch, apart from Mr Blue Sox.
