The results for question of the week are in. The question was: Who do you want as the next manager of Halifax Town? Read on to see the results.

An astounding 81% of voters will be happy to see Neil Redfearn as manager come the start of next season. But, to be honest, he is probably the only option.

With the club this week releasing all but 5 players, there is no squad to manage at the moment. The position as manager is just as good as signed by Redders, but the administrator wants certain guarantees before the position is taken by Redfearn.

There is no hiding the task that Redfearn has in front of him. The club will be wanting a squad of about 18 players for next seasons assault on the Nationwide Conference and so he is going to have his work cut out. The main worry though is what sort of squad he will be putting together. In our favour is that there are going to be hundreds of players without a team come the start of next season and so there is going to be plenty of players to choose from. But we still need the quality if we are wanting to take the Conference by storm next season.

Dave Worthington, who had been working as assistant to Redders was one of the staff who was released last week. Will Redfearn be allowed to bring in a new assistant? Steve Thornber was kept on so could he be a candidate?
