Match Preview: Sheffield Wednesday vs The Mighty Whites

This week the Mighty Whites travel to Hillsborough to face a 12th placed Sheffiled Wednesday side who are unbeaten in their last three, including a draw against promotion chasing Bournemouth.
United will be without Edgar Cani, Guiseppe Bellusci and youngster Lewis Cook through injury, but will be boosted by the return of local lad Aidy White for the first time since pre-season.
The two sides drew 1-1 at Elland Road in October, but our last visit to Hillsborough saw the boys get hammered 6-0 and the fans will want to see that set right this weekend.
Following 5 straight defeats Leeds are due a win, and there would be no better time to get one than in a Yorkshire derby againt an Owls side who have only won one of their last five.
Neil Redfearn is confident that Leeds are prepared enough to get a valuable win that would stop the rot at Elland Road.
"We've planned and prepared a little bit more for this weekend. We know its a Yorkshire derby and there are bragging rights at stake."
"Everything is cranked up a notch for these games and you've got to be ready".
The match will observe a minutes silence in remeberance of the Bradford City fire 30 years since the tragic incident took place.
