Latest Leeds United Transfer News

Leeds haven't been too busy in the transfer market just yet but rumours are still flying around. Despite the devastating news that superstar Adryan has signed for Nantes instead of us (sigh), we think that there is enough out there for Rosler to bolster his squad and make us a real fighting force in what looks like a very tough Championship.
CONFIRMED
SOL BAMBA - UNDISCLOSED FEE

Leeds were able to confirm the capture of Sol Bamba on a permanent deal on Tuesday, with Rosler describing Bamba as a man who can "lead the club forward". The central defender impressed in a loan spell last season and fans will be pretty pleased that the club have captured the big man on a two year deal. Leeds and Palermo have not disclosed the fee.
RUMOURS
JOEY BARTON - FREE

The former Manchester City and QPR midfielder could be close to a stunning move to Elland Road. The feisty Englishman, who has built quite the social media presence for himself, left QPR at the end of this season and is without a club. However his contractual demands could scupper a deal, with the Whites unwilling and probably unable to pay the £68,000 p/w he received at moneybags QPR. He would no doubt strenghten the midfield and is proven in the Championship. Could we see a return to Dirty Leeds?
CHRIS WOOD - £2.5 MILLION

Several clubs are said to be chasing the Leicester hitman, who spent part of last season on loan at Ipswich Town. Leeds will have to fight off interest from QPR and Wolves who are all willing to pay £2 million but the Foxes want a little bit more. Wood only managed three appearances at Ipswich but is a proven goalscorer. However if a bidding war takes place Leeds will be unlikely to follow through with the deal.
CLAYTON DONALDSON - UNKOWN FEE

The Birmingham City winger come striker, whose family are Leeds United fans, has been heavily linked with a switch to Elland Road. The main problem with this deal is that he is firmly in the plans of Birmingham manager Gary Rowett and only a hefty fee will bring Birmingham to the negotiating table.
All in all not too much to report as of yet. I'm still wiping away the tears over Adryan but securing one of these three may ease the pain. Of course there are more rumours doing the rounds, and we'll bring you more each day!
