Jim On Walton Arrival

Town manager Jim Magilton says he is delighted to have got Charlton midfielder Simon Walton to join on-loan.
Jim: I first came across Simon when I played against him at Portman Road when he was at Leeds a couple of years ago, he was only 17 I think but he was a tenacious so and so and wasn't intimidated by the more experienced players around him on both sides.
I like to see that in a player so when he joined Charlton in the summer, we've had him watched and I've watched him myself and he has been their best player in the pre-season games.
He's also very adaptable and can play in midfield or right across the defence so he could be very useful for us.
