Miller Joins Boston

Town defender Ian Miller has joined league two side Boston United on a month long loan.

The 22-year-old defender joined Town from Bury Town but has yet to make an impact in the Town first team, so has been allowed to leave on-loan.

 

Town manager Jim Magilton: “Ian has taken the jump up to the professional ranks very easily and has made rapid progress since arriving here, we have been very happy with the way he is developing. He is improving every day and he's ready to take the next step in his football education.

 

“That is to go out and play come competitive games and we'll see how he goes from there.

 

“Managers have liked the look of him when they have watched the reserves and I think we can take a bit of credit for that.”

 

Ian will go into the squad for Boston’s game against Notts County.
