Lee Training Next Week

Town striker Alan Lee should be training next week after scans on his groin showed no serious under laying problem.

Lee has been playing with the injury for the past couple of games and it would have made him a doubt for the game against Cardiff if he wasn’t already suspended.

 

Town’s head of sport science Dave Williams: “Alan has been carrying the injury since the Derby game last week but did say the discomfort was easing, he's had a scan and things are looking okay. There is a little fluid around the area but no obvious sign of a tear.

 

“It's good news and the rest will help him. He would have been struggling to make Saturday but should be back in training next week.”
