Alan Bid Rejected

Town chairman David Sheepshanks has denied reports suggesting that Town have accepted a bid from Hull City.

Local media reported earlier today that Town had accepted a £600,000 bid for the striker who scored 17 goals for Town last season but Mr Sheepshanks says that is not the case.

Mr Sheepshanks: "We have received a second offer from Hull but I can categorically confirm that we have not accepted it."
