French Striker Nicolas Gousse has joined Ipswich Town on a weeks trail, in a bid to earn him self a deal at Portman road.

The 28 year front man scored four time last season as his team, Guingamp got relegated from the French top flight. He has also played for Rennes, Metz and Troyes during his time in France.

Joe Royle has said that: "The lad is going to spend some time with us this week and we will see how things go from there,"
