Ipswich Town defender George Santos has had his proposed move to Queens Park Rangers has been delayed, but should be finalised by the end of the week.

Ipswich Town defender George Santos has had his proposed move to Queens Park Rangers has been delayed, but should be finalised by the end of the week.

George has said that: “The deal is a little bit dead at the moment. There are one or two things to be sorted out between QPR, Ipswich and my agent and that will take a couple of days. But I expect I will join QPR by the end of the week.”.

Meanwhile Joe Royle has reportedly been lining up Arsenal Youngster Justin Hoyte as a year long replacement for the 33 year old.
