Ipswich town goalkeeper Lewis Price has been named in the Welsh under 21 squad for there UEFA U21 championship qualifying game against Azerbaijan.

Ipswich town goalkeeper Lewis Price has been named in the Welsh under 21 squad for there UEFA U21 championship qualifying game against Azerbaijan.

Price made his debut for Wales at under 21 level last week, playing for 70 minutes of their 0-0 draw against Latvia before being replaced and he already able to plan another international date next month.

Price has said that: “I really enjoyed my time away with Wales and it was good to work with different coaches and different players because it gives you another perspective, I'm in the squad for the Azerbaijan game and then hopefully I will be involved in the match against England in October.

“If that happens then I might be up against Benty and that will be something to look forward to.”.
