Ipswich town goal keeper Lewis Price has been promoted from the Welsh under 21 side to the full squad, well almost.

The 20 year old goalkeeper has played just twice for the under 21 side but after Mark Crossley picked up an injury Lewis was called into the full squad in case Crossley didn’t make it.

Price has said that: “Mark Crossley picked up a back injury in training and the manager promoted me to the senior squad for the World Cup game with Azerbaijan, It was touch and go whether Mark would made it but he came through okay in the end so I stayed in the stands but I'm counting it as my first call-up at senior level!”.
