The Ipswich Town first team have today’s training session at Felixstowe beach and in the north sea, just for a change of scenery.

The Ipswich Town first team have today’s training session at Felixstowe beach and in the north sea, just for a change of scenery.

Town assistant boss Willie Donachie and fitness coach Simon Thadani took the town squad for a run along the beach and then a swim in the sea instead of the normal training session at Towns playford training complex.

Ipswich manager Joe Royle has said that: “It was an away day just to break up the training and try something different, the lads did some swimming, a bit of running and a walk but we will be back on the training ground on Wednesday and then start stepping up the preparation for Millwall at the weekend.”.
