Three of Ipswich Town’s winning team may well have to miss Tuesday nights visit to stoke City after picking up injuries yesterday.

Joe Royle has been able to play the same 11 starting players for the last three games but with midfielder Tommy Miller and defenders Drissa Diallo and Fabian Wilnis are all carrying knocks Matt Richards, Tony Dinning and Scott Mitchell may well be able to make first team starts, Richards replacing Wilnis at left back, Dinning at right back and Mitchell in the middle of midfield.

Defender Diallo has said that: “We are not given the opposition many chances. It is good to play with the same back four and we are improving all the time.

“Football is all about confidence and hopefully we can carry on against Stoke and stay top of the table.”.
