Ipswich Town manager Joe Royle believes his town side only have them selves to blame for tonight’s 3-2 defeat away at Stoke City.

Royle has said that: “I would have been disappointed to have drawn the game but we have ended up losing it and we only have ourselves to blame, we gave away two goals from set-pieces and never kept the ball well enough when we had possession.

“We missed two great early chances and our forward play was not as good as it has been but I can't be very critical of our frontmen because we have let in three goals.

“Our second-half performance was very disappointing. Kelvin has not had a lot to do but he's picked the ball out of the net three times.

“He was fouled for the first goal but I'm not making a big issue out of it. We lost the game ourselves.”.
