Kev’s Home Coming
Ipswich Town midfielder Kevin Horlock is looking forward to hopefully getting three points on his “home coming” tomorrow
The 31 year old midfielder left West Ham in the summer and made the trip up the A12 to join Ipswich but he still sees Upton Park as his home after joining the club as an apprentice alongside Matt Holland and grew up supporting the hammers, but his loyalty is now with Ipswich.
Kevin has said: “West Ham is special to me in many ways, they were my club as
a boy and I grew up through the ranks there as an apprentice and played with a
lot of good players there in the youth team, including Matty
(Holland).
“Sadly I had to leave to get first-team football and thought
my chance had gone to play for the club.
“As it turned out I went back
there last season and I enjoyed that immensely, even though things didn't work
out as I would have hoped for.
“But luckily I found myself at Ipswich
and I'm looking for us to bounce back from that defeat at Stoke with three
points on Saturday.
“It will be a tough game between two teams who are
capable of beating anyone on their day in this division but hopefully it will be
us that come out on top.”.
