Ipswich Town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis has praised stand in goalkeeper Lewis Price for his performances in goal for Town in Davis’s absence.

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis has praised stand in goalkeeper Lewis Price for his performances in goal for Town in Davis’s absence.

The 20 year has been filling in for Davis since Davis picked up a back injury in Town’s 1-1 draw with Reading last month and Davis he has done a fantastic job, saying: “He has done fantastic since coming into the side and I am really chuffed for him, he had gained confidence from going away with Wales but it's important to be playing for your club as well.

“Now he's had that opportunity and done brilliantly. It's given him a real boost and confidence is 90 per cent of a 'keeper's game.

“Of course I have given him a few tips along the way and that has helped him enormously!”.
