Ipswich Town defender Jason De Vos has admitted his fixture schedule over the past couple of weeks has taken its toll.

De Vos has played four times in two weeks two of those games he has been playing with a hairline fracture is his toe and he admits the travelling and the toe caused to him to be under par on Tuesday night against Leicester city.

De Vos: “It has been pretty busy over the last two weeks or so and the travelling has been tough, it has really hit me this week and certainly in the first-half at Leicester I could really feel the effects of the jet-lag.

“It was tough but hopefully with a couple of days rest now I will be fine for Saturday.”.

Jason is still having problems with his toe and adds: “It's sore but it's improving and hasn't kept me out of playing or training.”.
