Ipswich Town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis is not going to rush his come back from a back injury that has forced him to miss four games.

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Kelvin Davis is not going to rush his come back from a back injury that has forced him to miss four games.

Davis has been sidelined since the 1-1 draw with Reading at the end of September with Welsh under 21 international Lewis Price has been standing in since.

Davis: “It's been very frustrating because like any professional footballer, I want to be out there playing, I have had to take it steady and my recovery has not been as quick as I would have liked but I'm getting there slowly but surely.

“It's been a case of building and strengthening up my back in the gym and then going from there on to the training ground.

“Hopefully I will be back very soon but I have to be patient and relaxed about it as much as possible and return when I am ready, rather than setting any targets.”
