Ipswich Town midfielder Jim Magilton could miss Saturdays game against Preston North End with a knee injury.

Magilton has been sitting out training this week and is a doubt for the game against Preston so town look likely to play 4-3-3 again if he fails to pass fit.

Ipswich manager Joe Royle: “Jim has a sore knee but we are hoping he will train with us this morning and we will take it from there.

“I think it's a wear and tear problem more than anything else but he's a key player for us and we need him fit.”
