Matt Annoyed By Attitude

Ipswich Town defender Matt Richards is angry with the attitude some of his team mates took going into last night’s game with Wolves.

Town lost the game 2-0 and Richards believes some of the players took the wrong attitude into the game.

Richards: “We didn't come out in the right frame of mind.

“A few of the players thought they could turn up and win easily, but it was never going to be that straightforward.

“In my opinion, we have to approach games like last night - plus our remaining four - as cup finals. We've got to give everything because the prize up for grabs is massive.

“Wolves are in mid-table and didn't have much to play for, which worked to their advantage.

“They looked relaxed, passed the ball around well and always seemed comfortable.”
