Klug: Fair Result

Ipswich Town academy director Bryan Klug believes that Town’s U18 sides draw with Southampton’s U18’s last night was a fair result

Klug: “I felt we were very unlucky to go in at the break behind, with Southampton scoring in the last seconds, It was an evenly balanced game and we thoroughly deserved a draw in the end.

“They boys worked hard and played some football in what was an exciting match and an excellent advert for youth team football.

“We're happy with the result and just as importantly the performance and it sets up the second-leg nicely.”
