New Youngsters On Board

Ipswich Town have today announced the names of seven youngsters that will be joining the academy from next season.
Liam Barratt, Tony Boto, Oliver Fenn, Kieron Leabon, Ian Nimmo, Oskar Petursson, Luke Webster, Bjorn Orri Hermannsson are the seven.
Liam is a 16-year-old attacking midfielder or striker joined the academy in 2000, has been scored a few goals this season.
Tony Boto, 16-years-old striker who joined the academy in the back in 1999, currently stands at over 6 feet tall.
Oliver Fenn, also 16-years-old originally a central midfielder but over the last few months has been converted to more of a holding role in front of the defenders.
Kieron Leabon, 16-year-old striker who joined the academy in 2001, has played for both the under 18’s and reserves this season.
Ian Nimmo, 16-year-old midfielder from Scotland, can also play in the centre of defence.
Luke Webster, like the all the above Luke is 16-years-old, he can play as either a full back or a midfielder and has been at the club since 1998.
Icelandic pair Oskar Petursson and Orri Hermannsson will also be starting their scholarships in the summer, Petursson plays in goal and has been capped at under16 level for Iceland, Hermannsson is an attacking midfielder who has won caps at U15, U16 and currently plays for the Under17 Icelandic side.
