Shirt A Success

Ipswich Town has had to close pre-orders for next season’s home kit due to massive demand for the shirt.
Although pre-orders
have stopped fans can still buy
the kit when it is released for general sale on May 14th. The three stars on the
shirt represent Town’s three biggest honours: Wining the league in 1962, the FA
Cup in 1978 and the UEFA Cup in 1981.
Carl Day, Club stock controller,
has said: “We're delighted with the response we've had and especially the
limited edition 3-star shirts via the pre-order scheme.
“It's been phenomenal and that's no
doubt been helped by the great season Joe Royle and the boys have
had.
“We're expecting a busy time at our
Planet Blue stores when the mainstream replica shirt goes on sale and we're all
hoping to see the new strip at Premiership stadiums next
season!”
