Butcher Praises Garvan

Ipswich Town and England legend Terry Butcher believes Town youngster Owen Garvan has a bright future.
The 17-year-old midfielder got his first goal for Town in last night’s 2-2 draw against
Butcher: “Garvan scored a great goal and he had a good running battle with Dennis Wise and he'll certainly learn from that, I certainly thought he was older than 17 and he looks to have a bright future.”
Editors note: Lets hope Butcher wasn’t too impressed with Garvan, we want him at Portman Road not
