A spokesperson for the FA said: “We have received notification that Ipswich are appealing and the Disciplinary Committee will look at the incident at midday on Tuesday, the panel will look at video evidence supplied by the Club and also the match report from the referee and make a decision from there.
“If the sending-off stands, the player will be suspended for two games as it's his second red card of the season.”
