Joe Rubbishes Rumours

Ipswich Town manger Joe Royle has rubbished reports linking Town with a move for out of favour Charlton strikers.

Royle was at Charlton’s carling cup win against Hartlepool United in mid-week which sparked rumours linking Town with Jonatan Johansson and Shaun Bartlett, but it has emerged that Royle was only at the game to see how some former Town players are getting along.  

 

Royle: “People are reading more into me being there than there is.”
