Forster Back For Crewe?

Ipswich Town striker Nicky Forster could be fit enough to play for Town against Crewe on Saturday.

If the 32-year-old striker proves his fitness in training this week he may well be involved against the railway men on Saturday, but Town manager Joe Royle insists he will play Forster unless he is 100% fit.

 

Royle: “Fozzie has a chance of being included in the squad for Saturday.

 

“We have missed him, no doubt about that. We don't have a forward running player like him in the squad, someone who can get behind teams.

 

“But I have to be 100 per cent sure about his fitness because I don't want to take a risk on him.

 

“We will see how he gets on over the next two or three days before making a final decision.”
