Attendances Up

While the news papers have been full of the premiership’s falling attendance, it has emerged today that Town’s attendance is up.
Town’s average home attendance for this time last season is up by over 1,500 supporters.
Town’s home attendances for this time last year:
Wolves 30/8/04: 24,590
Millwall 12/9/04: 21, 246
Reading 28/9/04: 23,160
Average: 22,872
This season:
Average: 24,401
Town’s Commercial Director Andrew Goulborn: “Our attendances over the past few years have regularly been on the rise. We averaged 25,000 last season and this year we have more season ticket holders than ever before, 1,000 up on last season.
“At the moment our average is 24,000 and that will fluctuate.
“We have not had Christmas games, Easter games or many other big teams, apart from
“A great deal will depend on our form and the entertainment we provide.”
