Price Misses Out

Ipswich Town goalkeeper Lewis Price will not be making his full Wales debut tonight due to a hip injury.

It had been hoped that the 21-year-old goalkeeper would be fit enough to make his debut tonight but Wales manager John Toshack does not want to play Price until he is fully fit.

 

The hip injury which has forced him out of the last two Wales games is a persistent problem but because he wears shorts with extra padding in them while training with Town he never really flares up.

 

Paul Jones will continue in goal for Wales tonight while Price watches from the stand, his next chance of making his debut is away in Cyprus next month.
