Praise For Fans From Parkin

Ipswich Town striker Sam Parkin has praised Towns fans for the support they showed him during today’s 3-1 win over Plymouth.
Parkin: “It was nice to hear the crowd singing my name, I think my last three games have been my best since I came here.
“You've got to be strong; I was left out of the side two weeks ago but I've stuck to it and it's nice to be back and striking some good form.
“The lads and staff have been impressed with my attitude and in the last three games I've played how I know I can. It's now about continuing with that form.
“My stats show that 70 per cent of my goals have been scored at home and there's no good reason why, this season, all my goals have been away from home.
“The manager has told me that if I score 15 this season and they're all away from home, that'll be good enough for him.”
