Team news, betting odds and managerial previews ahead of Town’s game against Coventry City at the Ricoh Arena.
Town manager Joe Royle is with out the services of Kevin Horlock who is suspended for the game after picking up his fifth yellow card of the campaign against
Town manager Joe Royle: “We drew 2-2 in a game we should have won. When you are 2-0 up at home you should not squander points, but squander them we did, although we also had a perfectly good winning goal disallowed that night.
“I am a bit surprised that they are where they are in the table. They have good players like Gary McSheffrey, Stephen Hughes and Michael Doyle, while Dele Adebola can be a real handful on his day.
“It will be about us and how we play. There were plenty of encouraging signs before the break and I hope we can pick up where we left off.”
Town squad: Dean Bowditch, Darren Currie, Jason De Vos, Nicky Forster, Jimmy Juan, Jim Magilton, Jay McEveley, Richard Naylor, Sam Parkin, Lewis Price, Matt Richards, Luis Sito-Castro, Shane Supple, Ian Westlake, Gavin Williams, Fabian Wilnis.
Micky
Coventry Boss Micky Adams: “Obviously we've had Page and Duffy away and the two goalkeepers away, so until everyone reports back we won't know what sort of strength we are at but hopefully everyone will be fit and available.
“With two goalkeepers away and a back four away it has been nigh on impossible to work on any defensive shape or team shape, but that's the frustrating part of the job that we've accepted over the last four months with these international fixtures and we've got on with it. I think it's affected us more than other clubs to be honest because we've had the two Welsh boys away, Claus Jorgensen for spells but we've just got on with it.
“They lost some good quality players at the end of last season, they've replaced them but they've also had injuries to key men as well and I think what they are doing at the moment is getting players back fit and available.
“I think they've got a couple of elder statesmen in Horlock and Magilton in midfield who generally don't play Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday. But because they've had the two week break I would expect them to figure and be prominent in their midfield so they've had that rest and it will probably help them more than it does us.”
