Deano: We Can Kick On

Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch believes that Town’s point against Wolves on Saturday could kick start Town’s season.

Bowditch: “A lot of fans might not have thought we would get anything from this game but we got a good point and they will be pleased.

 

“This can help us and we have a great chance now of getting all three points next Saturday against QPR.

 

“We know we have a better team than them and some of the play against Wolves showed what we can produce even though there were times we were chasing the game.”

 

Bowditch went on to add: “It was a good point for us. They are a good team and are doing well with some good players.

 

“We could even have won it because there were times in the game where we played the better football.

 

“Their goal was very flukey as it has come off Jason's wrist so it was very unfortunate.

 

“We got a deserved penalty because we were refused one in the first half when Bam Bam was kicked in the head.

 

“Anywhere else and it would have been a free-kick. Fossie did well to earn the penalty and Richo put it away well.”
